How to enable iAd or My Ads (In-house Ads)


There are many ways to make money with your apps and monetization is the easiest from the variety of tools. Adding Ads in your mobile application became something usual and most of times, very profitable. This type of advertising is most commonly seen as a Mobile Web Banner (top of page) or Mobile Web Poster (bottom of page banner).


SeattleCloud supports the following monetization systems:

- AdMob

- RevMob

- iAd

- Pollfish

- DFP

- SeattleCloud Ads(In-house Ads)


In this tutorial you will find information how to enable iAd and In-house Ads only.


1) How to enable Ads in your app

To enable Ads in your created app you must choose the desired Ad service and Ad position from the Page Settings section page.  If you select an ad in "Global Application Setting" , the option will create ads spaces within the whole application on the top and bottom of each available page. Also, you can select the position and pages where to display ads in the Page Settings -> Banner Ads. 



2) Ad Services

AdMob by Google

iAds by Apple

Similar to AdMob, iAd facilitates integrating advertisements into applications sold on the App Store.

My Ads (House Ads)

You can use My Ads to run self-promotional Ad campaigns on your media outlets. Also it can be used to promote your business partners that have an Ad contract with you.

 The house ad creation process follows many of the same steps as creating a regular ad campaign of AdMob.
