We are glad to announce you that a new feature eSignature is released.
With this page type you will be able to receive notifications with new transactions made from the eSignLive website and you will also be able to sign the received transactions from your Android/iOS devices.
In order to add a new eSignature Page into your app, go to Edit Pages menu then click on the "+" (Add New Page) button. From the list of the available page types select eSignature and click on the "USE THIS PAGE TYPE" button. Once the page is added you may proceed for further settings. The page is not editable, as it is working only with the eSignLive website.
To receive the notifications for this feature and to submit the app you will need to provide the eSign API Key (2) in App Settings - Page Specific Options (1). You will also need to active the Push Notifications during submission process.
To get the required eSign API Key you will need to have an active account on eSignLive website. Each eSignLive member has his own eSign API Key, which is located in his Admin section (1). There proceed to the Integration tab (2). In this section you will be able to find your eSign API Key (3). It will not be visible, until you will view it using the View button (4) on the right side of the field. After you will view the eSign API Key you can copy it to the Page Specific Options section. To use this page you will need also to specify the Call back URL (5) in Integration section. The Call back URL (5) has to be http://seattleclouds.com/esignature.ashx
Next you will have to activate the Transaction using the option provided below the Call back key (6).
See the screenshot for more details:
After you have added the eSign Key you can proceed for submission.
Once the user will enter this page on his device, he will be prompted to Sign Up and confirm his email. After this you will be able to send individual transactions for each of the app users based on their email.
In order to create the new transaction and how to create new transaction templates please follow the tutorials provided in eSignLive Help section.
If you want to test the mentioned feature you can use the eSign Sandbox.
The available eSignature feature field is Signature (1). It has two types of signing options:
Click to Sign (2) - user has to click on the Signature area and then it is accepted.
Capture Signature (3) - user with the click opens the signing page where he has to draw his signature to sign the document.
Once you have set this options in your document you can send the transaction to be signed.
