How to configure Native Podcast and Native Podcast Aggregator?


Native Podcast is a form of digital media that displays episodic series of audio and video files. SeattleCloud's out-of-box podcast is extremely easy to set up. You will need either create a feed or find on the iTunes Store podcast feeds. Below I will show how to find a feed URL on iTunes Store and configure the page.


Step 1. Open iTunes Store on Mac Computer and find Podcast section



Step 2. Go to iTunes Store section from Podcast



Step 3.  Choose any podcast



Step 4. Subscribe


Step 5. In My Podcast section, find  the latest subscribed podcast. Click right -> Copy Podcast URL



Step 6. Insert the Podcast URL to Feed URL field from the website



You can also change the Header image for any podcast feed by uploading it to In-App resources of the page. 



Native Podcast Aggregator is a similar page that offers the same functionality with slight difference. Specifically, it allows you to set up several Podcast Feed. On the device, these feeds will be displayed in the alphabetic order. To configure Native Podcast Aggregator page you have to follow the same steps as explained above.


How it looks on mobile device?




As you can see there is a Download button for each audio. The progress of download can be seen in the download page by pressing the top right download button.



On Android it looks like this:



Here you can see the downloaded files and files which are still downloading. In case the download failed you can refresh the progress in downloading section. On iOS the buttons are at the bottom (Remove, Refresh, Share and Play/Pause).


On Android the options appear once you press and hold the file. The buttons appear at the top.
