Publisher Account Setup

How to use publisher dashboard ?

After you activate your publisher subscription plan with SeattleClouds you get access to Publisher Dashboard. Use Publisher Dashboard to configure your publisher website and customize your white label website settings and configuration.

1. Account Settings

This section provides a set of basic configuration setting for your publisher website. These settings will apply to your website and previewer apps.

a) Website configuration

Hostname, Publisher ID - can be only modified once, when you first configure your publisher account and can not be changed later on. Host name is the real domain name without www prefix.

You can configure a domain name or a subdomain name. If you configure a primary domain name, you need to point your Registrar (ex: GoDaddy) domain setting to our nameservers which are:
- NS1.MOBIBLOCKS.COM
- NS2.MOBIBLOCKS.COM

If you configure a subdomain, you need to add a DNS A record for your subdomain to point to our IP:

184.172.164.218

Brand Name is the name of your white labeled product which will replace SeattleClouds brand name everywhere on your website and previewer apps.

b) Configure Previewer applications
where:

application name is the name of the preview application on the App Store

link - direct link to your previewer application on the App Store

NOTE: These settings can be customized for each 3 other device families (iPad, Android, Kindle)

Once your publisher account is setup, your previewer apps will be listed on MyApplications page. You can order an automatic build for your previewer app and post it to AppStore, Android Market or Amazon AppStore anytime under your account. You can also order a manual build and ask our support team to post it under your account in AppStore, Android Market or Amazon AppStore.

c) Configure SMTP settings

These SMTP setting will be used by our system to send emails to your clients, send submitted form info within the apps created by your white labeled services. For ex: if a client on your website created an app, adds a Feedback page type, specifies the target email and submits the app, the email will be delivered from the app to the target email using the above SMTP settings.

2. Application Manager

Use Application Manager to manage Paid/Unpaid status of your apps.

This page is used to list all applications registered on your white label website and set/unset “paid status” for each app.

3. FTP access to your website

By default "website" virtual directory is opened. You can use CD command or a Go To Folder menu item in your FTP client to change virtual directory to "myapps" and "myuserapps"

NOTE: Using your ftp credentials you can login via FTP and manage content of your publisher website.

Here you can view default directory structure of the publisher website.

where:
cssfiles - folder for storing css files
img - folder for storing image files
jsfiles   - folder for storing javascript files
toolboximages - this folder contains ToolBox icons which can be replaced with your own icons.
